Goodwill's career as a narrative writer/director launched with his award-winning debut feature Patch Town.
Patch Town, based on Goodwill's Directors Guild Award winning short of the same name, had its International Premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January 2014 (New Vision New Voices Category) European Premiere at Moscow International, and Asian Premieres at Shanghai International (Panorama) and Fantasia Film Fest in Montreal. Patch Town recently won the Best Feature Award at the Canadian Film Festival in Toronto. US distribution rights to Patch Town were sold in Cannes to Kino Lorber.
Craig recently completed his second feature SADIE which shot in Italy and is currently in post-production looking to a 2016/17 festival run.

Craig Goodwill began his film career as a producer/director's assistant on films such as Good Will Hunting, 54, Driven, Superstar, Storm of the Century, Loser, among many others. Subsequently, Goodwill traveled the world from Haiti to India directing and producing documentaries for National Geographic, CBC, Alliance Atlantis, during which time he completed a feature documentary called Godless, documenting the rise of Atheism through modern times.
Goodwill continues to shoot award-winning work as a commercial director for clients such as Nike, Microsoft, Bank of America, and Nokia, to name a few.
