Bio/Filmography
Goodwill's career as a narrative writer/director skyrocketed with the success of his debut film PATCH TOWN. Premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), this film, based on Goodwill's award-winning feature of the same name, made its way to theaters and was acquired by NETFLIX and various streaming platforms.
Building on the triumph of Patch Town, Craig went on to complete his second feature film, COMPULSION, which was filmed in Italy and had its premiere at the Turin International Film Festival. The film garnered attention and was picked up by SHOWTIME and NETFLIX for distribution.
Recently, Craig completed a documentary for FIFA called FIFA: A Love Letter to Rwanda was filmed in a post-genocide country that has become an example of resilience and gives us some insights on FIFA and its president Gianni Infantino during their 2023 annual Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, first-ever host city of a FIFA elective congress in Africa.
Hosted by international supermodel and FIFA Global Fan Ambassador Adriana Lima. The film premiered at Taormina Film Festival and is shown across all FIFA platforms.
Before immersing himself in filmmaking, Craig Goodwill honed his skills as a Hollywood producer/director's assistant on notable films like Good Will Hunting, 54, Driven, Superstar, Storm of the Century, Loser, and more. He then ventured into directing and producing documentaries for esteemed organizations such as National Geographic, CBC, and Alliance Atlantis, capturing diverse stories from countries like Haiti and India.
Alongside his narrative film projects, Goodwill continues to thrive as a commercial director/producer, crafting award-winning content for renowned clients including Nike, Microsoft, Infiniti, Nokia, and many others.
